Interview Questions

For interviewers asking questions that will let you see how a candidate may perform are often difficult to frame.   Sometimes we ask questions which give us no insight into whether the candidate has the ability to perform well in the role or will fit into the organisation.

Here are some sample questions to help you understand the candidate better and establish their qualities, attributes and ability.

• What are the most satisfying and the most frustrating aspects of your current job?

• Which of all the jobs you have done have you found the most interesting and why?

• Tell me about a problem you had to deal with and what you did?

• What would you do if you had a problem that you could not deal with?

• What has been your greatest achievement in your working history?
