Business Report Writing Workshops

Proposals and/or reports are the way most of us are encouraged to present information to our customers, our senior managers and to the board.  Yet many of us never have the training, we are often just expected to know how to do it.

This programme is designed to clear your mind of any negative thoughts and show you how easily you can produce reports which are clear, concise and persuasive.

Aim:
To provide busy managers with the tools and techniques required to deliver reports on time and in good English.

At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Describe the report writing process
  • Identify your purpose and objective
  • Research and organise the necessary information
  • Explain the structure and layout
  • Use correct English in your writing
  • Demonstrate a good writing style
  • Present a simple report

The workshop is practical and the emphasis is on ‘learning by doing’.  You will learn how to create the right impression, how to write using the correct style for your reader and how to make your report persuasive. There will be a number of activities and exercises together with group discussions, quizzes and tests and at the end of the session you will have produced a report.  Please feel free to bring examples of previous reports you may have written to compare with the approaches used in the training.
