Great Presentation Skills
A presentation has been described as being like having a baby. That is ‘that it is easy to conceive but much more difficult to deliver’. This programme will enable participants to work together; to acknowledge their fears and learn well documented and creative techniques which will make the experience more pleasurable and therefore more effective.
The methodology
The programme will cover the basics of designing and delivering a presentation in a group setting. It will address four key areas.
- Managing your audience
Managing your material
- Managing your resources
- Managing yourself
The framework will cover the following:
- Establishing aims
- Planning content using mind mapping
- Handling the opening
- Conclusions
- Using audio and visuals
- Language and the voice
- Group presentations and feedback
This workshop will include a number of games and practical activities and will concentrate on ‘learning by doing’. A fast and furious session using non-threatening and fun topics will enable key messages to be learned, without difficulties, in an atmosphere of mutual trust. Team building will become central to the experience which provides participants with peer support after the programme is completed for future work orientated presentations.
What we can do?
The above workshop has been created for first time presenters. We also run workshops for more experienced presenters and for those expecting to take on the role on a regular basis, and who need fresh ideas and challenging feedback.
We can also tailor sessions for individuals to improve and enhance your skills in a safe and supportive environment
