What she does
Jo trained as a journalist with the regional press, then became a freelance for national women’s and parenting magazines. She then moved into PR and has worked with both in-house teams and agencies.
Jo’s experience in PR and journalism makes her a very effective communicator, who knows how the media works and how to make use of it to enable businesses to get their message across effectively.
What she's like
Jo is married with three children, who take up far too much time and she wonders if she should have become a cabbie instead. When not behind the wheel she likes to jog (slowly) and grow veg, although her on-going battles with badgers, rabbits, pigeons and her own hens which raid the patch mean she is becoming more of a pest-controller than a gardener.
